Baysinger Architects released the 2018 edition of its top 10 landmarks in southern Illinois.

The list highlights the area's rich architectural diversity.

"The area has a rich, rich history and many of these properties reflect the growth and change to the region over time,” said Michael Baysinger, Managing Partner of Baysinger Architects.

This year's list includes a clock tower, a boardwalk, a museum, and a hotel.

Baysinger has released its list of top architectural wonders of southern Illinois since 2013.

This year marks a total of 60 structures that have been recognized.

Geographically, the sixty come from 37 communities, covering 15 counties in southern Illinois.
