Roadkill & Rosé: a delicious night for a good cause

Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri invites you to enjoy Roadkill & Rosé.

It’s safe to say, the roadkill part isn’t necessarily what you’re thinking!

Roadkill and Rose

Roadkill & Rosé: a fundraiser

Here’s the premise: it’s a wild game cook-off and local wine and craft beer tasting that will be set up in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Organizers say it marries the “ruggedness of the grill with the refinement of a winery.”

There will also be live music to enjoy.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 24, from 3-7 p.m. at 231 North Main Street.

Tickets are just $25 a person. CLICK HERE to buy yours.

The Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri

The money raised through what organizers plan to make an annual event will benefit the Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri.

The group helps people in need in the 39 southernmost counties in Missouri.

They help those affected by natural disasters, provide safe shelter, food and clothing for homeless pregnant women, support coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other social services for our most vulnerable people. CLICK HERE to learn more about their mission.
