The trend that’s sweeping the nation is now in Cape Girardeau: goat yoga!
Lazy L Safari is offering four goat yoga classes for all you yogis that love animals!
What to expect at goat yoga
Participants will need to bring their own yoga mat.
Keep in mind, the goats may, um, use the restroom in the yoga area, so don’t bring your best mat!
We’re told goats are also known for chewing on clothes, so you might want to wear old clothes for practicing your downward dog.
Here’s the schedule of classes:
- Friday, July 12 from 6-7 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13 from 9-10 a.m.
- Friday, July 26 from 6-7 p.m.
- Saturday, July 27 from 9-10 a.m.
Each class costs $30. That gets you an hour of goat yoga, a bag of animal feed and admission to the zoo for the day.
This is an actual yoga class with a certified instructor.
You’ll go through poses and get the chance to snuggle with an African Pygmy Goat if you so choose.
