pomona natural bridgeConcealed within the trees of Shawnee National Forest is the Pomona Natural Bridge.

A short, easy trail will lead to direct access above and below this natural phenomenon.

The 90-foot structure stands 30 feet high and eight feet wide.

Even cooler? It formed all on its own.

The hiking trail is just about a third of a mile. It is suitable for children and adults alike.

It is also one of Heartland Weekend’s favorite spots to take a photo!

It’s beautiful in all seasons.
