Climate Change Documentary Kicks Off Sustainable Living Film Series
The 9th annual Sustainable Living Film Series kicks off Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, at 5:30 pm with "Paris to Pittsburg." Discussion after the film hosted by Amy McMorrow Hunter of ShopCarbondale.com. From coastal cities to America’s heartland, Paris to Pittsburgh celebrates how Americans are demanding and developing real solutions in the face of climate change. A poignant and powerful documentary highlighting a pro-active approach for meaningful change. Sustainable Living Film Series offers free documentary screenings open to the public. Hosted in the back room of the Longbranch Café and Bakery, 100 E. Jackson Street, Carbondale, Illinois, all films are shown 5:30 pm on the first Wednesday of the month, April-October. The mission of the Sustainable Living Film Series to encourage personal and social responsibility, build awareness and support sustainable living in Southern Illinois. Each film is followed by a discussion hosted by local professionals.
