Classic cars, vintage motorcycles to rev up for Manifolds on Main Street

Rev your engines!

Classic cars and vintage motorcycles are set to take over downtown Cape Girardeau.

Mark your calendars for Manifolds on Main Street, formerly known as the Rivertales Classic Car Show.

The 42nd edition of the featured event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15.

A series of events are planned to welcome drivers starting on Saturday.

During the day, drivers are encouraged to discover Cape Girardeau, including historic sites, scenic hiking trails, art galleries and more.

Car enthusiasts are encouraged to gather at Capaha park from 4 to 7 p.m. for Cruisin’ Cape. That’s where you can purchase souvenir t-shirts, learn more about the River City Rodders and how to become a member. The whole family can also enjoy the playground, Rose Garden, disc golf, Freedom Corner, and feeding the geese!

After Cruisin’ Cape, drivers can explore Cape Girardeau’s nightlife.

On Sunday, the public is invited to enjoy a free spectator show.
