CARTERVILLE, Ill. (Heartland News) - The Caterville Lions Club is inviting the community out for some fall fun.
They will host a haunted hayride on October 22-24 at James Street Park.
On Thursday, rides will begin at 7 p.m. and go until 10 p.m. They will be open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Officials say it’s an annual event that comes down to the hard work of volunteers.
“They can expect to see all kinds of things,” 1-CS past District Governor Heather Abell Castlebery said. “We have chainsaws, we have witches, we have zombies. The Carterville High School Art Club will be out here. They always have something extra special and scary in store for the Haunted Trail.”
Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 at the gate.
