Hosted by the Downtown Mt. Vernon Development Corporation, it returns on Wednesday, October 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
They say families are invited to stroll through downtown and stop at participating businesses and designated treat stations.
In addition to the downtown locations like The Granada Theatre, American Legion and Innovation Hub, others will be stationed at The Commons, 911 Broadway.
“Downtown Trick-or-Treat is one of those events that really showcases the heart of our community,” Nat Shook, DMDC president, said in a news release. “It’s wonderful to see so many businesses and organizations come together to create a fun, safe environment for families. We love seeing downtown filled with kids in costumes, parents and grandparents making memories, and our community partners having just as much fun handing out treats!”
