PADUCAH, Ky. (HEARTLAND WEEKEND) - To celebrate the Southside Neighborhood Revitalization Program, there will be a fall-themed community event at Robert Coleman Park in Paducah this Saturday.
According to organizers, the Fall for Southside event is set for October 3 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., and will feature music, games and activities for children--including pony rides, face painting, pumpkins and pumpkin painting.
There will also be free chicken strips, nachos and barbecue for attendees while supplies last.
Caldwell Street from Walter Jetton Blvd. to South 9th Street will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. that day.
Community Development Department staff will also be available to answer questions about housing incentive programs and the Southside Revitalization Plan, which was adopted by the Paducah Board of Commissioners in August 2025.
