CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Heartland News) - The winter time activity sure to get the whole family in the holiday spirit will return to Fountain Street in Cape Girardeau in December.
City of Cape Girardeau officials announced that Twinkle and Twirl on Fountain will return December 16-19.
Twinkle and Twirl is a festive ice-skating experience complete with lights and music. All levels of ice-skating experience can enjoy the event.
Families are welcome, but children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Walk-ons are welcome, but event organizers recommend re-registration for a time slot. Pre-registration opens Friday, December 11 on the City of Cape Girardeau website.

Event hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, December 16, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Thursday, December 17, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Friday, December 18, 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Saturday, December 19, 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
