CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Heartland News) - The 2026 SEMO District Fair officially opened its gates on Saturday, September 12.
The fair parade took place at 9:30 a.m.
Fair staples such as camel rides, tractor displays and delicious fair food are available for the whole week.
Tonight’s grandstand entertainment was the Demolition Derby with hundreds of people in attendance.
Sunday’s grandstand entertainment will include the Antique Tractor Pull at 9 a.m. and the Garden Tractor Pull at 11 a.m.
