JACKSON, Mo. (Heartland News) - For the third year, the Cape Girardeau County Historical Society is inviting the community out for the Arts, Crafts and Music Festival.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 22.
Admission is free.
At the Jackson Civic Center, attendees will find more than 50 vendors.
There will be demonstrations including basket weaving, painting and cigar box banjos.

Live performances will include bluegrass, folk and gospel music by local artists:
- Docs & Friends
- The Whitewater Bluegrass Band
- The Wednesday Boys
Food will be available for purchase from The Old Country Store, Watts BBQ, Sugar Chic Ice Cream and Emma & Ollie’s beverages.
Additionally, the cross country team and art club with Jackson High School will have a bake sale.
