MARION, Ill. (KFVS) - Countless Legos were piled into the Pavilion in Marion.
The Ultimate Brick Show was back for a fourth year on Saturday and Sunday, August 8-9.
There were Lego master meet-and-greets, hands-on activities for all ages, Lego vendors and plenty of displays.
Lego Master Bred Alsop shared how a random idea turned into a long-term passion.
“I started to get sick around the age of 16, and I found myself a lot at home recovering, and needed something to do,” Alsop said. “So I would build stuff with my Legos, and then just continued and continued until one time I was playing the guitar and messing with Legos, and thought, ‘I wonder if I could pull this off.’ So I did, and that one had a Lego neck... but then I started building these with real necks that are playable.”
