SIKESTON, Mo. (KFVS) - From August 5-8, bull riding, barrel racing and live entertainment return to Sikeston.
This year’s musical lineup includes the following, with a double feature on Saturday:
- Wednesday - Tucker Wetmore
- Thursday - Blake Whiten
- Friday - Hudson Westbrook
- Saturday - Braxton Keith & That Mexican OT
It all kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 1, with the rodeo parade in the morning, followed by mutton busting qualifiers.
New this year, the Hay Barn will feature live entertainment and an afterparty. It will be set up in a pavilion on the east side of the property.
Isacc Quick, this year’s rodeo chairman, said there will be about 10,000 people out each night of the rodeo.

Tickets are going quickly, with Friday and Saturday sold out since January.
“Don’t wait because you don’t want to be left out sitting at home on the couch. It’s going to be a good time. We have a lot of good performances. So don’t wait or you’ll be left out.”
