PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - Kentucky writer and Revolutionary War historian Geoff Baggett will lead “Revolutionary War in a Trunk” on Thursday, July 16.
Baggett will bring an old wooden trunk filled with items and military equipment from the Revolutionary War period. His presentation will include reproductions of 18th-century weaponry, camp tools/equipment, clothing, toys and everyday necessities to bring to life the reality of living on the Virginia and Kentucky frontier.
Baggett is a Kentucky author, historian, educator and speaker.
The free, interactive program is open to all ages. The program will take place at The McCracken County Public Library from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
