MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office seized over 100 grams of methamphetamine from three separate investigations.

In April 2026, detectives investigated 38-year-old Melissa S. Jones after they received reports that she was allegedly involved in illegal drug activity. The investigation revealed that Jones was conspiring with others to traffic meth. A McCracken County grand jury indicted Jones on a charge of Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine.

On June 23, detectives located her at a traffic stop and arrested her on the outstanding indictment warrant. They also recovered a small amount of meth in her possession.

Detectives arrested 47-year-old Robert V. Cramer and charged him with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators say they believe Cramer had been distributing meth in the area for around six months.

Detectives recovered around 64 grams of meth from Lawrence’s truck. They also recovered additional controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and cash believed to be from proceeds from illegal drug sales on his person and inside the residence. He was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is ongoing, and more charges are possible.
