JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - The Fruitland Area Fire Protection District will offer a “Safe Sitter” class for students 6-8 on Saturday, August 1.
The purpose of the class is to prepare students to be safe while they’re home alone, watching siblings or babysitting.
The class will include games and role-playing exercises. Attendees will also have the opportunity to practice CPR on a manikin.
The class will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fruitland Area Fire Protection District, 7273 US Highway 61.
Registration is $30 per child and closes on July 27.
