Funds raised during the event will help support Bridle the Gap’s programs and sponsorship opportunities for individuals throughout the region.
According to the organization, Bridle the Gap’s mission is to foster healing connections between people and animals through horseback riding lessons, adaptive riding programs and equine-assisted learning experiences.
The nonprofit serves children, families and individuals across southern Illinois, with a special focus on foster youth, adopted children, people living with disabilities and families facing financial hardship.
Through scholarships, sponsorships and community support, the organization works to make equine experiences accessible to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate.
Bridle the Gap says its vision is to create a community where every child and individual, regardless of background or circumstance, can experience healing, confidence, connection and hope through the power of horses and animal-assisted programs.
