COBDEN, Ill. (HEARTLAND WEEKEND) - The annual Cobden Peach Festival returns for its 89th year this August.
According to organizers, this beloved southern Illinois tradition will celebrate the community’s rich peach-growing heritage on August 7-8, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly.
There will be a carnival, live music, a 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run, the Peach Queen Pageant, a community parade celebrating America’s 250th and much more.
Event parking will be at the intersection of Locust and N. Centennial Streets adjacent to Cobden High School.
