DU QUOIN, Ill. (HEARTLAND NEWS) - The 2026 Du Quoin State Fair will take place from August 28 to September 7.
Tickets are available for the stage shows:
- Wiz Khalifa - August 29
- Kameron Marlowe & Ashley Cooke – August 30
- Tyler Hubbard – September 3
- Night Ranger – September 4
- Russell Dickerson – September 5
- Randy Houser – September 7
The box office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, until the start of the fair.
Once the fair starts on August 28, the box office will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Sam Kuhnert, the founder and executive director of the national youth sports organization NubAbility, has been named the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Du Quoin State Fair.

Other fair events include the Twilight Parade at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, the FFA Farmyard Follies at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, the Gorgeous Goat Contest at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 and more.

Parking
- South Gate Lot (Illinois State Rte. 14 entrance) - $10 daily
- Gate 1 Parking Lot (Jackson St. entrance) - $15 daily
- Gate 4 Parking Lot (Jackson St. entrance) - $10 daily
- Seasonal parking pass, good for 11 days of the fair, Gate 1, Gate 3 and Gate 4 parking - $30 season pass
Camping
Organizers say campgrounds open April 1 through October 31. It’s $25 per night/unit.
They say they have more than 1,000 sites with electric and water and unlimited primitive camping. There are two bath houses with toilets and showers and one dump station.
