METROPOLIS, Ill. (KFVS) - The carnival is returning to Washington Park for the 2026 Metropolis Superman Celebration.
The carnival will be open on the following dates and times:
- Thursday, June 11: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday, June 12: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, June 13: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Session 1 is from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Session 2 is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
The carnival will have rides, games and food.
Attendees can purchase unlimited ride armbands for $25.
The Superman Celebration will also host a Super 5k on Thursday, June 11.
The carnival is brought back by the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Metropolis and the Greater Metropolis Convention & Visitors Bureau.
