CALVERT CITY, Ky. (KFVS) - Soccer fans and community members are invited to attend a World Cup Watch Party & Soccer Festival at the Calvert City Civic Center and Doctor’s Park Sports Complex.
The event will take place on Friday, June 12, organized by the Calvert Area Development Association.
The event schedule includes:
- Youth Small-Sided Soccer Tournament from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Food trucks from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Live music from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- USA vs. Paraguay watch party from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., and tickets are $5.
Proceeds from the event will go towards building mini soccer pitches in Calvert City and western Kentucky communities. Organizers will also partner with the non-profit organization, Kick-it-Forward.

Organizers are looking for sponsors, vendors and food trucks. Registration closes on June 5.
