MAKANDA, Ill. (KFVS) - Giant City State Park in Makanda, Illinois, will host a variety of nature-themed art programs for kids this June.
Here is a list of programs they will offer:
- Thursday, June 4: Secret Superpowers of Butterflies and Dragonflies from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ages 6-12)
- Wednesday, June 10: Exploring Beauty in Nature from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ages 8-12)
- Thursday, June 11: Something’s Fishy at Giant City from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ages 6-12)
- Thursday, June 18: Plantable Paper Seedlab from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (6-12)
- Wednesday, June 24: Mothscapes for Kids from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ages 6-12)
- Thursday, June 25: Crafty Trails with Jen from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ages 6-12)
The programs are free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
