CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Fort D in Cape Girardeau honored veterans past and present by showing what life would have looked like during America’s earlier days.
Actors created demonstrations and shared historical facts.
“Pretty exciting since we get to come out here and celebrate the holidays with all sorts of good people like all of my friends here and also any people who come through,” said Alexander Porter, a volunteer.
Fort D is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week.
