SOUTHEAST MISSOURI (KFVS) - Shoppers and vendors in southeast Missouri enjoyed the final day of the 100 Mile Yard Sale on Sunday, May 24.
The event is an annual tradition and runs from Jackson to Kennett along Highway 25 and through surrounding communities.
Attendees had the opportunity to clear out old, unused items and give them new life for someone else.
One shopper said she loves that each item has a story.
“I love a story, and my most favorite thing to do is garage sale,” said Devonna Slinkard. “So, my thing about garage sales is, if you buy something, it’s got a history to it. Just one piece of something’s got a history, and I get curious on what’s behind that history.”
There will be more yard sales around Labor Day weekend.
