JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - Several moms gathered at Rusted Route Farms in Jackson, Missouri, to celebrate Mother’s Day with a special brunch.
Brunch was catered, and the venue offered three brunch times.
Erica Grubb shared her excitement for celebrating Mother’s Day, as she has a little one on the way.
“I’m so excited. This is my first Mother’s Day, ‘unofficially’, because my little one still has two months before he makes his grand entrance,” Grubb said. “I’m so excited to be here with my family and to get to celebrate the day officially as a mom. And next year will be my first year having an actual little one by my side.”
Another mom, Kasey Pinson, spoke about why it’s important to celebrate.

“It’s important to just celebrate your mom. Your mom gave you life. Your mom takes care of you. Even at 37 years old, you still need your mom,” Pinson said.
According to their website, tickets were sold out for the event.
Rusted Route Farms also hosts weddings, tours and events throughout the year.
