MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - Two juveniles are facing charges following an investigation into stolen items from vehicles in McCracken County.
The investigation started on Sunday, May 3, when the McCracken County Sheriff’s received several reports of missing valuables from vehicles. One victim said her car window had been broken, and the door lock had been tampered with.
The reports came from the N. Crestview Dr/ Grubbs Ln. area of McCracken County.
During the investigation, deputies learned about two juveniles who allegedly had been running through multiple properties in the area throughout the night.
Officials obtained surveillance footage from the residence. Several witnesses identified the suspects.

Deputies located, interviewed and charged the juveniles. They also recovered many stolen items and returned them to their owners.
The sheriff’s office is reminding the public to lock vehicles at night. They also encourage everybody to remove valuables such as money, bank cards, credit cards, medications and firearms from vehicles.
