MURRAY, Ky. (KFVS) - Murray State University held commencement ceremonies on May 8 and 9, 2026, for 1,642 spring and summer graduates.
The ceremonies were held at Racer Arena.
Graduates came from 22 countries and 39 states.
1,101 students graduated with their associate or bachelor’s degree, 35 with a certification, 73 with a doctorate and 383 with a master’s.
44 BSN (nursing major) and 15 (RN-BSN major) graduates were pinned.

26 DNP nurse anesthesia and family nurse practitioner graduates were hooded and pinned.
31 graduates were admitted to the following schools and programs:
- Medical School
- Dental School
- Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Athletic Training
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Doctor of Mersing Practice/Family Nurse Practitioner
355 students were first-generation graduates.
