GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A crash in Graves County sent two people to an area medical center on Wednesday afternoon, and one woman was charged.
Around 3 p.m., deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and other first responders were on the scene of a crash on US 45 North at KY 849.
Officials said 39-year-old Maria O. Garcia Rodriguez was traveling westbound on KY 849 in a Chevrolet Tahoe. They said she drove into the path of a Dodge Avenger traveling southbound on US 45.
The vehicles crashed in the intersection. Rodriguez’s vehicle ran off the southwest shoulder and crashed into two road signs.
A passenger in the Avenger was transported to an area medical center by Mayfield/Graves County EMS for suspected minor injuries. The driver of the Avenger was taken to the same medical center by a private vehicle.
Rodriguez was not injured. She was charged with No Operator’s License.
