CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - The Brown Bag Concert Series will return to Carbondale, this time with more locations.
According to Carbondale Main Street, this year’s concerts will take place at a variety of downtown businesses.
The free, family-friendly concert series will take place every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., running May through June.
The schedule includes:
- May 6 — Loose Gravel at The Carbondale Town Square Pavilion
- May 13 — Snowbird Street Band at Tres Hombres, 119 N. Washington St.
- May 20 — The Ol’ Fishskins at So Ill Syndicate, 215 S. Illinois Ave.
- May 27 — Bill Harper at Booby’s, 406 S. Illinois Ave.
- June 3 — The Hornworms Marching Band at The Big Chill, 508 S. Illinois Ave.
- June 10 — Carter & Connelley Quartet at Artspace 304, 304 W. Walnut St.
- June 17 — Isaiah Cunningham & the System at Booby’s, 406 S. Illinois Ave.
- June 24 — Cash & Company at Italian Village, 405 S. Washington St.
Organizers say free parking is available.

Each concert will also be streamed live on Carbondale Main Street’s Facebook page.
The program is partially funded by Artspace 304’s Southern Arts Fund and is partially supported from the Illinois Arts Council through federal funds from the National Endowment of the Arts, as well as support from Good Chaos and private donors.
