Police investigating after Harrisburg Middle School students make threats

HARRISBURG, Ill. (KFVS) - The Harrisburg Police Department is investigating two incidents involving threats made by students at Harrisburg Middle School.

According to a release from Harrisburg Unit 3, staff at Harrisburg Middle School found a threatening note in a classroom.

They identified the responsible student to their parents and the Harrisburg Police Dept.

Later, a different student made a threatening remark involving a plastic binder. The student was also released.

The police department is investigating both incidents.

The school said staff acted quickly and no students were in danger.
