CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A free kids day event aims to promote health, safety and family fun.
Kids Day will be on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center.
Hosted by Victory Spinal Care, organizers say the event will feature free bike safety tips, a fire department meet-and-greet, car seat safety, health screenings, games and more.
They say it will also support CPSEMO by raising awareness and money for children in need in the region.
“This event is all about giving back to families in our community and creating a safe, positive space for kids to learn and have fun,” Dr. Kathleen King of Victory Spinal Care, said in a news release. “We are excited to bring together local organizations and volunteers to make a meaningful impact.”

The free event is open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend.
