JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - The Jackson Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration, will host a drug drop-off on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The drop-off day will be on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The police department said the free and anonymous event provides a safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications. This helps prevent misuse, accidental poisoning and overdose.
The drop-off will take place at the Jackson Police Department Lobby, 202 W. Jackson Blvd.
You can bring capsules, patches, tablets and other solid prescription medications.
