GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A Graves County man was arrested and is facing multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop on April 17.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop after an equipment violation was observed on a white SUV.

The traffic stop happened around 8:11 p.m. on the bypass near Ky Hwy 58 east.

The driver was identified as 69-year-old Forrest E. Adams.

The deputy searched the vehicle and found 98 grams of marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, $2,573 and drug paraphernalia.

Adams was arrested and taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center. He was later lodged at an out-of-county detention facility.

Adams was charged with the following:

  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Trafficking Marijuana
  • Drug Paraphernalia
  • Traffic Offense
