CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - A brand new ice cream shop in Carbondale, Illinois is set to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 17.
Chilly Jilly’s is a family-owned ice cream parlor that uses traditional techniques with local ingredients.
“Chilly Jilly’s is excited to bring an old-fashioned ice cream parlor experience to Downtown Carbondale, featuring a number of ice creams made right in our shop, many featuring ingredients from other local businesses,” said owner Kevin Quinn.
The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. Anybody is welcome to join.
Following the ceremony, the shop will open for regular service. They will offer small-batch flavors, classic sundaes and handcrafted cones.
