BENTON, Mo. (KFVS) - A man was sentenced to 22 years in prison on Thursday, April 2, following a DWI in 2024.
According to Scott County Prosecuting Attorney Donald Cobb, Jimierquon Johnson was set for a trial in February for a DWI that involved a death and an injury. He pleaded guilty right before the trial.
Officials say the incident occurred on August 6, 2024, when he struck two pedestrians in the 800 block of Tanner Street in Sikeston, Missouri.
In a Benton, Mo. court, he was sentenced to 22 years in prison on April 2, 2026.
