CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - The City of Caruthersville will host “America’s 250th Birthday Bash” on July 4, featuring a parade, riverfront activities and fireworks.
The day will begin with a Hometown Freedom Parade. Line-up at Caruthersville High School will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the parade will start at 5 p.m. There will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Courthouse at 5:30 p.m.
Following the parade, they will host “Liberty on the Mississippi.” The event will include:
- T-shirts
- Souvenirs
- A bounce house
- Food trucks
- Drinks
Birthday cake will be served at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks later in the evening.
