SIKESTON, Mo. (KFVS) - A special event is happening at the Sikeston Rodeo Museum next month.

The Rodeo Rundown, a program that will give attendees an inside look at the traditions, history, and behind-the-scenes details of the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo, will take place at the museum on April 11 at 11 a.m.

Guests will get to tour the museum and explore exhibits celebrating Sikeston’s rodeo history.

This event, led by the 2010 Rodeo Chairman and Rodeo Secretary, will also serve as “Rodeo 101” for anyone wanting to better understand the sport--from the basics, to the different events and scoring, to what it takes to put on one of the region’s most exciting annual events.

The museum gift shop will also have select discount items available for card-only purchases.

Seating is limited. RSVP by April 4 to reserve your spot; just email hailey.ahlvin@sikeston.net.
