One-day and two-day passes will also be available for cash at the event. Veterans and servicemembers receive a discount at the gate.
Stephanie Monroe said Music for the Mind started after she lost multiple family members in 2019.
Monroe said the importance of therapy and music in her journey forward inspired her to create a nonprofit to provide that support for others.
“It’s a great way to advocate for mental health,” Monroe said. “As we all know, in our area, rural resources are very limited, so it’s a great way to build community and help break the stigma surrounding mental health.”
All proceeds from the festival will benefit individuals in southeast Missouri who have experienced trauma or are struggling with mental health.
