SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul has charged an Eldorado, Ill., man for allegedly producing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
Raoul’s investigators searched 32-year-old Jody Allen’s residence on Thursday, March 5. The Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System Southern Illinois Regional Team were also there for the search.
Allen was arrested after evidence of child sexual abuse material was found.
The Attorney General’s Office charged Allen in the Saline County Circuit Court with the following charges:
- One count of producing child sexual abuse material (Class X Felony, punishable by up to 30 years in prison)
- Four counts of disseminating child sexual abuse material (Class X felony, punishable by up to 30 years in prison)
- One count of unlawful recording of a minor in a bathroom (Class 4 felony, punishable by up to three years in prison)
The court will determine the sentence. Allen’s next court date is set for Monday, March 23.

Allen is currently being held at the Saline County Detention Center.
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case with Saline County State’s Attorney Walden E Moriss’ office.
