MARION, Ill. (KFVS) - Multiple organizations in Marion, Illinois, gathered for a “No New Wars” peaceful demonstration on Sunday, March 1.
Indivisible Marion, Little Egypt Leftists, PACC and Big Blue C organized the event at Town Square Plaza.
The theme of the demonstration was “Only Congress Can Declare War.”
According to organizers, the purpose of the demonstration was “to send a clear message: no more unilateral military actions.”
All members of the public were welcome to join, and many brought signs reflecting their message.
