PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - A man and woman who had active arrest warrants in Paducah, Kentucky, are facing multiple charges after a safety camera caught them.
On February 19, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office located a dog that needed immediate medical assistance.
A search warrant was executed at the residence of 41-year-old Brandon Burnham and 38-year-old Amber Burnham.
During the search, detectives determined the dog had been left alone for weeks without shelter, food or water. They also discovered cocaine and firearms. Neither Brandon nor Amber Burnham were at the residence during the search.
Brandon Burnham is a convicted felon, prohibiting him from possessing firearms.

Active arrest warrants were issued for both Brandon and Amber Burnham.
On Feb. 25, Paducah City Police Department officers were alerted by a Flock Safety Camera System of a vehicle traveling whose owner was wanted on an active arrest warrant. The vehicle was driving in the 300 block of Strathmoor Boulevard.
The vehicle belonged to Brandon Burnham. Amber Burnham and a 3-year-old child were also in the vehicle.
The officer saw open alcoholic containers, firearm accessories and cocaine in the vehicle.
After a search warrant was conducted at the Burnhams’ residence, officers found psychedelic mushrooms.

The child was taken to Child Protective Services. Brandon and Amber Burnham were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.
Both were arrested on the following charges:
- First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
- Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hallucinogen)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Minor
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Brandon Burnham was also charged with the following from MCSO’s active arrest warrant:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon x2
- First Degree Wanton Endangerment
- First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
- Torture of Dog or Cat
Amber Burnham was also charged with the following from MSCO’s active arrest warrant:
- First Degree Wanton Endangerment
- First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
- Torture of Dog or Cat
