JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - According to the Jackson Police Department, a vehicle struck Hubble Creek, formerly known as the Monticello House, in Jackson, Missouri, sending a woman to an area hospital.
According to Assistant Chief of Police Alex Broch, a woman driving a mid-size pickup truck hit the front of the building, resulting in the vehicle going about halfway through a room in the nursing home.
A 94-year-old woman in the nursing home was sent to an area hospital due to glass breakage and cuts.
Broch says the cause of the crash was likely due to the driver hitting the gas instead of the brakes.
