70th Annual Southeast Mo. Regional Science Fair set for March 3

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The 70th Annual Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair returns in March.

The science fair will be on Tuesday, March 3 at the Show Me Center.

Organizers say 110 projects will be available for viewing starting at 12 p.m.

The schedule of events includes:

  • 8 a.m. - Set up begins
  • 9:45 a.m. - Set up must be completed
  • 10 a.m. - Judging begins (students must be present)
  • 12 p.m. - Students dismissed and final judging (no students present)
  • 12 p.m. - Science fair opens to public viewing
  • 2:30 p.m. - Awards program (students must be present)
  • 3:15 p.m. - Project removal

They say 182 students from 12 area schools will be participating.
