LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A man was arrested for threatening a woman with a knife in Lyon County, Kentucky.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call about a trespassing incident off Green Road around 2:15 p.m. on Friday, February 20.
The complaint stated that a neighbor saw a man trespassing on a friend’s property and openly urinating.
The witness contacted the property owner about the trespassing after yelling at him to leave.
The sheriff’s office says that when the property owner confronted the trespasser, he pulled a knife from his waistband and brandished it at her.

The property owner then contacted the sheriff’s office.
After obtaining photos of the man, the sheriff’s office used them to locate him at a residence off KY 810 South. He was identified as 42-year-old Brian C. Goodson of Kuttawa, Ky.
A knife was found at the residence matching the description the victim gave to the sheriff’s office.
Goodson was arrested and charged with Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree.
He was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
