CARTERVILLE, Ill. (KFVS) - The Carterville Community Unit School District No. 5 placed an employee on administrative leave due to an alleged conduct investigation.
The school district learned on Friday, February 20, that the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating alleged conduct of an employee.
The school decided to place the employee on administrative leave.
“The Board of Education and administration are committed to protecting the welfare and security of District students,” said Superintendent Sarah Barnstable.
The school district did not receive specific information about the alleged conduct and said they will be in contact with the sheriff’s department to learn more.
