CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Hundreds of people are expected to turn out in support of Heartland veterans when Freedom Fest returns to Cape Girardeau for its third year.
Gates open at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 for the concert fundraiser at Century Casino & Hotel.
Food trucks and vendors will be on site for attendees to shop.
Live music begins at 4 p.m. with a lineup of acts from the Heartland and beyond:
- 4 p.m. Ivas John
- 5 p.m. Next of Kin
- 7 p.m. GENX
- 8:30 p.m. Roseland
- 10 p.m. Bayker Blankenship
Beginning at 2 p.m., there will be free activities for families including bounce houses, children’s crafts and a visit from Scouting America’s STEM Van. That will last until 8 p.m.

General admission is $30. Children ages 12 and younger get in free, but must have a ticket.

Cape Freedom Fest raises money to support the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home Foundation, helping veterans in the Missouri Veterans Home.
