LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - 36-year-old Amanda K. Overbaugh of Kuttawa was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon in Lyon, Kentucky, on Saturday, February 7.
Overbaugh was detained near a campground off KY 1055 following a trespassing complaint, where she was found to have a handgun and ammunition.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Overbaugh is a prohibited person due to multiple previous burglary and methamphetamine-related offenses.
Overbaugh was recently charged in an unrelated criminal trespassing incident near Kuttawa. It is still pending at the Lyon District Court, and she was out of custody on bond at the time of this incident.
She was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
