CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will be holding its annual Children’s Arts Festival this Friday.
According to organizers, it is their biggest annual exhibition and launches Youth Art Month across the region.
It opens February 6 at the Arts Council gallery at 426 Broadway Street in downtown Cape Girardeau.
The event will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature artwork from more than 250 students and 20 regional teachers.
It will also feature music and dance performances in the Scout Hall venue downstairs, at 420 Broadway Street.
