BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - The Bollinger County Quilt Show took place on February 7 and 8 in Marble Hill, Missouri.
According to organizers, the annual event took place on Saturday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, February 8, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mayfield Event Center.
The quilt show was free, but donations were accepted at the door.
This event highlighted the work of local quilters, showcasing handmade quilts, machine-made quilts and many other quilt displays.
We spoke with Becky Wiginton with the Bollinger County Chamber of Commerce before the event, who shared what attendees could expect at this year’s show.

“[...O]ur goal is to have 100 quilts on display in our historic building,” she said. “It is a free event[...]we do have vendors set up, and then just our whole town is kind of decorated for quilts this year.”
There were several different collections on display for guests to view.
“This year, we (had) Martha Peters’ quilt collection,” Wiginton said. “Martha Peters was a community leader, she was a quilter and she did a lot of things for our community.”
